Jedd is Hospitalised!!!!!!

My poor Jedd is down with Bronchitis!!!! :-( Jedd has always been an active boy... this time round.. he is really sick... i still remember when i saw him on tuesday, he was basically just lying motionlessly on his mum's chest... after we brought him to see the doctor on that very evening, he was in his normal self running round and round again... he was down with a high fever.... all was well for him except for the cough and flu... until thursday evening... he was down again... he was not running as he used to.... we decided to bring him to see his PD again.. this time round, he has to be warded.... for this "whizzing" sound coming from his chest and for high fever... he reaches 39 degress at a point of time... by then he was really knocked out...

The nurse, administered the medicine for him... stuffing something, which i can never remember the name of that "thing", up his arse..... within an hour, his temperature dropped.... we were admitted at around 9 plus in the evening.... about 10plus close to 11... he was feeling better... he began jumping and running around the bed.... he was so different from how he was 1 hour ago.... can u imagine???? a boy who was running a temperature at 39 degrees.... running and jumping around on his bed in the middle of the night??? THAT'S HIM!!!!!!

His temperature really fluctuates... he has to get his blood drawn for some test... did an x-ray and take a cocktail of medicine.... it really breaks my heart to see him having to go thru all that... finally... he was discharged on saturday evening.... we thought he had to spend his entire National Day in the hospital... his fever has been controlled... now is only his cough and running nose.... now we even need to administer him with the "inhaler", where most asthmatic patient would use.... a boy of 19mths old having to go thru that.... is really tough for him...

If not for God's strength and Jedd's active and bubbly character, both peishan and i would not be able to go thru this so well.... Whenever Jedd has that bit of energy, he will run and jump.. seeing him do that comforts us... it tells us that he is still ok... though he pants after running a while..... Peishan has been strong thoughout... she has been the one looking after Jedd.... attending to his needs 24hrs. For me staying at the hospital has been like a holiday for me... i just eat and watch tv... and sleep... but Peishan is always there carrying him around as Jedd is real bored staying in the room... Peishan is just great.... I really thank God for her.....
