Jedd's New Bicycle !!

Just bought a new bicyle for Jedd recently. Had wanted to buy a tricycle for him which i thought was quite impressive. When we went to the shop, we noticed that the seat was changed, as they have a newer model. I thought the unique thing about the bike was the seat, as it can be adjusted according to the height of the kid. Was not impressed with the new model.. so decided to get him a bicyle instead... initially he was "stucked" to the tricycle and refused to try on the bicyle. We had to trick him to get to another shop so that we can get him to choose a bicycle instead.

We finally bought the bicycle which was meant for a 3 to 4yrs old kid, as attached above. The bike is definitely too "big" for Jedd to handle. When Jedd started to cycle, he could only paddle lightly. He could not finish the full paddling cycle. He was only paddling a little forward... and would get down his bike and push instead.

When i saw that, I told PS that Jedd would probably take 2 weeks to get used to it. PS was more confident and told me that Jedd would only require a week. We brought Jedd to his granny's house and he was not really interested to cycle... he would only guard his bicyle, so that his cousin, Sara, would not "ride" it away....

However, when we reach home, Jedd seems to be able to be more interested in the bike and managed to grapse the technique to controlling the handle and was beginning to continuously cycle a little at a time... We were glad and amazed to see that... He then continued to do that round and round the sofa... What I thought could be happening only in 2 weeks, he amazed me in less than a day.

One week had passed, Jedd is now cycling like a 4yrs old kid! He can manoveur the bike however he wants and is cycling real fast now... he is definitely in control! He don't seems to have any problem with the bike at all.... Now we are waiting to see when we can actually remove the 2 side wheels of his bike.

Well Done Jedd!!!!!
